The Acai Berry is a super fruit found in many superjuices such as Mona Vie. Mona Vie claims to have the highest concentrate of antioxidants than any other juice. They make these claims based on their inclusion of 19 exotic fruits found all over the world which they use to make their juice.
But are these claims really true? After consuming an entire bottle of Mona Vie, I had my antioxidant level tested by the BioPhotonic Scanner:
My results? A poor 19,000. If it does increase antioxidant levels it does it at a slow pace.
I experienced nothing else while drinking this. It was just like a $45 bottle of tangy blueberry/grape juice. Even though I didn't experience anything, it doesn't take away from these claims made by other people. I'm normally not a big buff of videos, but these are mostly 3rd party reviews, which makes them pretty believable.
So with these videos, I do think the drink provides other benefits. Just none realized by myself. I don't play sports and at the time I wasn't working out. Maybe if I were I would've realized some benefit, but one thing's for sure, it does taste good!
If you are very active, and tend to have muscle soreness, or joint pains, I would recommend trying 1 bottle of this juice. If it doesn't do anything for you, than just stop using it.
There are several different Mona Vie juices. I tried the "Active" bottle, which was recommended to me by a distributor, so I'm assuming it's their most potent bottle.
Cost: The retail price is $45 per bottle; $159 for 1 case of 4, but I have found them on eBay for as low as $77 for a case of 4 with free shipping! You really can't beat that. Here's a link to get Mona Vie with Acai Berry from eBay:
