Review of the Prepaid Legal Business Opportunity

I've been with Prepaid Legal for a couple of years now. They are a company that specializes in legal insurance. You pay about $26 per month and you have unlimited access to any type of lawyer all across the nation. They will also go to court for you and you get 50% off on big cases.

The service really is excellent, and the business opportunity is definitely legitimate. However, the commissions are very small. It's what you would call "nickel and dime". For signing someone up under the full plan which is about $30 per month. You get a little gas money really. The membership is also good for a married couple, so you'd only need one membership per household.

Having Prepaid Legal has saved me tons of money. We were having our yard re-landscaped, and the guys didn't finish laying the mulch. Well they continued to send us empty promises for a week and a half, so I finally gave my legal membership a try. Well after a quick conversation with a lawyer, they sent out a letter to the landscapers and a copy to myself. A day after I received the letter, I walked past the window and noticed a new flash of red in the yard. I looked closer and what do ya know... MULCH! I don't know if they did it before the sun came up or what, but they laid that mulch lighting fast! Serves them right for trying to get over on us hard-working folks.

So with all of that said, the company certainly works and is well worth the investment each month. They even have memberships for businesses for a slightly higher premium each month. As for the business opportunity... well, it's extra change. I get paid for recommending a great service. I don't exactly make it my business to do it full time.
