How to Choose From the Top Home Based Businesses

Finding the top home based businesses out there is not hard at all. Hopefully you read my checklist: How to find legitimate home businesses. If you didn't, take the time now to go and read it to have a good foundation.

Once you know how to weed out all the scams, it's time to find out where your time, money and efforts will be best spent. Here is a checklist that will help you find the best home businesses out there for you.

Advanced Checklist For Finding the Top Home Based Businesses:

  • In order to be considered as one of the top home based businesses, the company should sell a reasonable product or service. Meaning, not here today, gone tomorrow. The company should offer something that people will use forever. Soap, lotion, personal care products, financial planning, etc.

  • Make sure the company has a FAIR compensation plan. Every company is different, and all claim to work as a team; however, this is not always the case once you're in. I was in a company who promoted teamwork. But the way the compensation plan was structured, anyone in my downline could pass me. Which means, if you introduce someone to the business and help them become wealthy, you won't get any credit for it in the long run. If you help someone, let the company pay you for that forever. The point to home based employment is passive income so you can retire young and rich, not buy a job.

  • Make sure the company has a product and a business plan you believe in! This is important because all of these companies involve talking to people. If you don't believe in your business it will be impossible to get someone else to believe in it.

  • Make sure you receive something anytime you pay out. Many companies have handsome fees to pay for getting started. Be careful of those. That's a red flag for scam, and although some may not be a scam, there are other good, legitimate work at home jobs that don't require any fees.

  • Finally, make sure there is more training than you can swallow! The companies I've been in with the exception of two (scams), gave so much training it upset me, LOL. I'm a fast learner so redundancy kills me. But it's always good to know you have support when you need it.

Here's a list of some of the top home based businesses around. I'm sure there are others, but these I know for a fact are good. If their products suit you as well as your demographic, it should be a great opportunity for you.
