Do Walkfit Insoles Really Work

Walk Fit

You may have seen Walkfit Insoles late at night on TV. They had an infomercial where they showed the difference in people's posture from wearing the insoles. They also demonstrated the durability of the insoles by rolling over one with a steam roller and it never changed shape! (That's some strong plastic!)

Initially I thought, "How can something so tough that a steam roller can't mend it be comfortable?!" So I was very reluctant to put them on. But after reading the directions and following them to a "T", I must say that these insoles have become one of my bestfriends!

At first, these things hurt.... BAD. You may see other reviews saying that they were very uncomfortable and so uncomfortable that people couldn't even make it through the first day. Well, that's because they didn't read or follow the directions. The directions can be found below, but it specifically states not to wear them more than 1 hour the first day, and increase in 1 hour increments each following day.

You must follow the directions because these things are hard. (Remember the steam roller?) So they are shaping your feet to the proper mold to fit the insole. Once your feet are accustomed, they will become very comfortable and you will really see a difference in the way your body feels afternwalking and standing all day.

I would highly recommend these insoles. If they can help my flat, wide feet with bunions (please don't laugh, people with my type of feet know my pain!) than they can definitely help out the average foot.

You can find these cheap on .

Directions For Use:

***THESE DIRECTIONS HAVE BEEN COPIED FROM WALKFIT.COM***

Wear Them Only One Hour at First

Orthotics work by changing the position of your feet. It may take some time before you are comfortable wearing them all day. To begin, wear the Orthotics 1 hour the first day, 2 hours the second and so on, until you can wear them comfortably all day long. If you feel discomfort, remove them from your shoes. Begin wearing them the next day without increasing the time they are worn. Then continue to increase usage until they are comfortable. If you feel pain when wearing, discontinue use and consult with your physician.

Be Patient

It could take as long as 2-3 weeks to adjust to your Walk-Fit® Orthotics. If you choose to start out on LOW or MED inserts, after a few weeks you may want to try MED or HIGH to find your ideal fit. Remember, if after a few days the new inserts are not comfortable, go back to MED or LOW for greater comfort. The important thing is to choose the level that feels best to you.

Avoid Tight-Fitting Shoes

WalkFit® Orthotics will fit comfortably in most shoes, with the exception of tight-fitting shoes. If you experience this difficulty, try your Orthotics with a pair of looser-fitting shoes.

Look Ahead to New Foot Comfort

Once your feet have adjusted to the WalkFit® Orthotics, you'll experience a noticeable increase in foot support and comfort. You'll hardly know you're wearing them... If you're like most people, you'll always want them in your shoes. You may even wish to order a second pair for added convenience at the same low TV price using the enclosed Re-Order Form. We know you will love your WalkFit® Orthotics. Thank you for your purchase.Warning for Diabetics or Those with Circulation Problems

If you are a diabetic, suffer from chronic foot pain, persistent joint problems, have numbness in your feet or circulation problems, check with your physician before wearing WalkFit® Orthotics. Approval from your doctor is of great importance. If you suffer from one of the above conditions and a physician's approval cannot be obtained, please return your WalkFit® Orthotics for a refund.
